Mid-century wood case study bed in walnut with matching bedside table. Originally from Modernica. Full size bed and bedside table are walnut wood with metal v-legs. This mid-century Case Study bed set is designed by George Nelson is beautiful, well-made and designed to last. We’re upgrading to a Queen so we’re selling this set. Selling together for $1100. Mattress not included. Cash only, you must be able to pick up and transport bed.
Originally purchased bed for $1595 and matching bedside table for $495. To purchase new, this set would cost $2090 + tax/shipping. Willing to sell separately, but would prefer to sell together as a set. [$950 for the bed, $150 for bedside table]
The bed is in excellent shape. Dark walnut stain, not veneer wood. No squeaks or creaking, bed is solid and very well made. Note: our photos show a thicker mattress than is intended for the bed- a low profile mattress looks better. No need for box spring, this bed is designed for a low profile mattress.
The bedside table has some surface water damage from a glass of water knocked over in the night. Water damage is surface only, but could be refinished fairly easily. The bedside table has a drawer with lots of storage inside. The classic bedside table does not appear to be available for purchase anymore online.
