Rare Find! Beautiful Double Sided Display Cabinet or Collector Display Case from the early 1900s American. Fully Restored to its glory days. Mirrored back with 3 halogen lights; 6 adjustable shelves with 3 new x 3/8" thick glass shelves on each side (total 6 glass shelves); I was told the handles and locks are original. Top has graduated molding and the bottom legs/platform base is scalloped. Color is finished in warm med dark.
It came from a very high-end shop in the Upper East Side of NYC. This would be a wonderful display case for private home or showroom. It would look beautiful in any area. Double sided case can be used as a room divider to give more privacy as you can see it in the picture. Here, pushed against the wall to separate the rooms to give more privacy. At another location, used it to float in the center of the room dividing the main living room to another room.
Double Sided meaning, it has the identical on both sides and both sides are mirrored back with display light It can float in the center of the room to be viewed from both sides to show off all your beautiful collectibles, or put it against wall to separate rooms to give more privacy; at the same time make the room much more interesting. It is very handy in NYC where we live in a small space. Alcove studio could be made into a separate bedroom by using this case. It opens up any room much bigger as it has a mirrored back and lights.
