Set of 4 one-of-a-kind hand made panels from Zorine’s discotheque in Chicago. Circa 1970’s.
Zorine’s was owned by Chicago restauranteur Arnie Morton (of Morton’s Steakhouse) and named after his wife. This private, members only discotheque was Chicago’s Studio 54. The wealthy and famous paid a substantial fee to experience its luxurious atmosphere.
These unique mixed media panels have an art deco egyptian vibe. Construction materials include: acrylic mirrors, real peacock feathers, rhinestones, sequins, metallic rope, clear plexi-glass, and wood.
Due to age and nature of these statement pieces, they are not in “perfect” condition. There may be areas that need to be reglued, cracks in mirrored plexi, and/or missing clear plexiglass protector panels, rhinestones, feathers, etc.
These rare historic panels are sure to add glamour to any space.
