This incredibly unique Scandinavian desk-in-a-box “Wooten Desk” by Norwegian MCM designer, Leif Elvestad, is indeed a “magic box” just waiting to be opened and discovered!
It dates to the late 1960’s. The desk is in excellent shape. Nothing is missing or broken. The original locks are still in place: 1) drawer under the desk & 2) on door
This piece looks like a normal wardrobe but when you open it… Voila! The interior reveals multiple cubbies, drawers & other compartments, including file storage, and a fold-out, fully functional desk. You can store a ton of tools, nick-knacks & documents, and then hide it all in just 2 swift moves.
All of the hardware is original, and it’s in nearly mint condition.
