Italian Baroque carved walnut cabinet: 17th/18th c., raised panel case with solomonic column supports
82.5"h x 54.5"w x 25.5"d
Provenance: Deaccessioned the Caramoor Museum, Westchester. This is a unique piece with gorgeous patina coloration. The lozenge arrow panel carvings is quite rare. The hardware alone is worth ! The angels on top worth ! I am still doing research on this. sensble offers for a piece of this quality and provenance. It is just a bit big for my abode. Was destined into a bigger space that never happened. With the right lighting and (??a barn/loft) it would be AMAZING).
Detaches into 3 pieces for moving.
Offers will be considered
fair, shows age and use, finish distressed, warping, wood shrinkage, wood loss, veneer chips, veneer checking, insect damage, restorations.
Still looks magnificent!
