-A set of 9 'Cesca' upholstered armchairs designed by Marcel Breuer... will sell individually -listed among the 10 most important chairs of the 20th century by the Museum of Modern Art . -These ARE original authentic items in near perfect condition Manufactured by Italian Maker, Gavina, who started making them with Breuer's blessing and participation. Gavina was the first to name the chair the "Cesca", after Breuer's daughter, Francesca. -The frame is tubular steel with chrome plating and is in showroom condition. - The seating, backing and arms have just been redone in Charcoal Black- Vegan Textile (waterproof, tearproof,puncture proof, uv light resistant) -which is on top of the original & perfect condition Knoll Textiles of the archived collection. Shimmering Iridescent Emerald Green, Royal Blue, Majestic Pink & a hint of deep Purple show themselves when viewed from different angles. Absolutely Gorgeous & stain resistant fabric makes it even better for the dining room. -Having only two owners in 50 years, they were originally donated by Florence Knoll to the Officers Boardroom of a local charity in the 1970s in New York City & then handed down to myself.
