Interesting mid-century lounge chair with matching ottoman. Chinoiserie style arms, legs and surround. Understand this might be Drexel but it was recovered in 1977 so no markings to show this. It was purchased prior to 1970 according to the previous owners son so I expect everyone smoked around it and the lady who owned them had cats who completely shredded and ruined the upholstery so I can only describe the condition as a shocking mess. BUT the bones are there for what could be fabulous chair so its being sold for renovation and re-upholstery. This is a hard to find style and reupholstered I have seen one sell for $1,500 sadly I just do not have the skills to do it myself. This has the makings of a really showstopping chair! You need to look carefully at my photos to be sure you want it in this very shabby and poor condition and if you have any questions I would be happy to answer them for you. If you are local you are welcome to contact me to make an appointment to see them. We can deliver for the cost of gas within 100 miles of Grass Valley CA - alternatively you collect or arrange your own transport. I would be happy to work with you on shipping - I've done this before several times so can suggest who to talk to on the transport (I have a local guy who goes down to LA and to New York once a month) and where to get the right size packaging and how to get it to me, but you will be responsible for all organization and payments. Your purchase is non refundable, all items are sold ‘As Is’, with no implied or inferred warranties or claims, so please bear this in mind when considering purchasing pre-loved vintage. My photographs are to be considered my description of the item.
