From the artist: “The early morning mist swirled through the forest revealing the iridescent crimson and scarlet colors in fleeting moments. When all of the moods of the forest harmonized – I took a deep breath and pressed the shutter.” About the Photographer: Peter Lik holds four of the top 20 most expensive photographs ever sold. His panoramic depictions of nature featured collections in luxurious hotels, prominent estates, and leading corporate offices worldwide. Born in Melbourne, Australia, he is the only son of Czech immigrant parents. Completely self taught and raised in humble beginnings, he was given his first camera, a Kodak "Brownie," by his parents when he was only 8.
