Pair of Spaghetti armchairs, designed by Giandomenico Belotti, Italy, Alias, 1980s. 2 Armchairs with the rare yellow pvc chords. Chromed metal frame. Makers label Alias on frame. Very comfortable and light. Sold as a set of 2. A most successful design by Belotti, they are a part of the permanent collection at the MoMA in New York and the green outdoor collection. And they stack! (1922-2004) After graduating in architecture from the University of Venice, Giandomenico Belotti began working in research, restoration, city planning and industrial design. Since 1979 he has worked with Alias planning spaghetti chair. Still considered one of the most contemporary expressions of modern design.
