Reclaimed Industrial Railroader Console

Posted on Sat Apr 21 2018

Sustainable and versatile Railroader Console complements any entryway or studio space, suited to hold your favorite novels, magazines and other display-worthy treasures. From conception to construction, the one of a kind console is steeped in Windy City nostalgia. The custom steel brackets, whose design is inspired by the criss-crossing trusses of the Wells Street Bridge, link two pieces of Chicago history. The legs, circa 1872, enjoyed a former life as the base of a Lathe, a piece of machinery used to create baseball bats and other wooden objects. The richly hued lumber beams, salvaged from our industrial past, represent vintage Chicago architecture. Dimensions: 72" long x 12" deep x 44″ high
