Are you a fan of Texas institution Kinky Friedman? I thought so. Handsome framed limited edition 2006 signed & numbered poster for Kinky Friedman's run for Governor, a collectible and rare artwork that is great looking for a spot in your home, man cave, Texas themed restaurant or bar art collection. Who doesn't love Kinky Friedman? This one is signed by Kinky and also signed by the artist Guy Juke. There are a fe of these unframed on eBay for around 500.00, and this one is a framed doubly signed copy that is an instant crowd pleaser. From Wikipedia: "Richard Samet "Kinky" Friedman (born November 1, 1944) is an American singer, songwriter, novelist, humorist, politician and former columnist for Texas Monthly who styles himself in the mold of popular American satirists Will Rogers and Mark Twain. He was one of two independent candidates in the 2006 election for the office of Governor of Texas. Receiving 12.6% of the vote, Friedman placed fourth in the six-person race." The framing is very high end, and the piece looks amazing on the wall. I am clearing out tons of artwork and this one I know will find a home in the NYC area. I am located in Bed-Stuy on Greene and Marcus Garvey Blvd, but can deliver in NYC for 20 bucks. My studio is near Meserole Avenue and Scholes Street so if you are near Williamsburg I can meet you there with it.
