Rare style of BP John dinning chairs. In original condition and labeled. These are not reproductions. Each chair frame is made of solid wood and remains in good solid condition. Bruno Paul John was a German immigrant that helped start and fund Doernbecher Manufacturing in Portland, Oregon in 1911. After running that company for 16 years he started his own furniture plant in 1929 and survived the depression. He sold the plant in 1953. The plant closed in 1973. It is where John's Landing in Portland, Oregon got it's name.
