SELLING THIS WEEK!!!!! REDUCED AND PRICED TO SELL!!! RARE RARE RARE!!! I have decided to part with my 1952 Hans Olsen Dining Set -- (4) 3-legged chairs that fit neatly tucked under the teak table. If you know of these gems, you know just how valuable and hard to find they are. But just look at it! So perfect for New York apartments. Legs unscrew and chairs stack -- I transported mine over 10 years ago in a cab. For a piece this old, incredibly beautiful condition. Two minor flaws -- a small tear in the upholstery of one of the chairs and one small missing section of the wood on the perimeter of the table (about an inch). I just wiped down the photo with a touch of water in this photos so that is what you are seeing on the surface. Chair backs have stripes of ebony inlay. Dog not included. A description of the table: "Olsen’s first successful design was the Roundette Dining Set (1952) for Frem Røjle Møbelfabrik. The compact, teak and leather design was an achievement in form and function, as the chair backs seamlessly tuck under the tabletop." 1st Dibbs and other sites have this set (1952) priced at between 7 to 9k, but I am redecorating so this piece will no longer work with my decor. Hoping for quick sale so please let me know if interested! Thank you, Charlene PS -- Also selling 19th Century Antique Red Chinese Armoire in background.
