Handmade Wooden Table Lamp Needs DIY Vellum Shade

Posted on Mon Jun 18 2018

Make a vellum shade for this amazing lamp, a handmade table lamp that used to have a paper shade that was inset inside the structure, and just needs a trip to the craft store for a 12" high piece of vellum to wrap around the inside. OR you can make whatever you want for it in another material (art paper? thin fiberglass sheeting?). Very well made in (I think) cherry. It has a modern Shaker vibe with a mid century styling mixed in. YOu could alos just put an Edison bulb in it and call it a day. It works just fine. There are spines that nail tap into the inside to hold the (new) vellum in place. There is one vertical spine missing but it will stay in place just 5 instead of 6. 17” tall Needs 12” high vellum 10-1/2” wide 9” deep Located in Williamsburg. Days and nights are good for pickup. Want it delivered curbside in the city? 10 bucks. Cash only, no Venmo.
