Presented for sale here is a beautiful, slick, versatile and very capable, multi functional mid century modern walnut tambour door credenza / bar / record cabinet / media stand from 60s. This piece is a true "swiss army knife" of mid century modern furniture. It is equipped with tambour doors that slide open to each sides. Tambour doors are made of many vertical pieces of wood slats that are held together at the back using strong burlap cloth, in such that as the doors are flexible and as they slide out, they completely disappear into sides and back of the credenza! This allows super easy access of inner content with fully open face, unlike typical sliding doors. Yet without need of extra spaces in front of doors required for operation of conventional swinging doors. Not only they are cool and very useful, tambour doors allow very clean and streamlined looks, so they are much sought-after. This piece is perfectly sized for both small and large spaces, yet provides considerable amount of storage due to relatively deeper profile. This piece measures around 32" wide around 34" high and around 24" deep. It is a bit deeper than typical credenzas and dresser, by about 4-5", which allows 1. more judicious use of storage space, being able to store multiple larger items along the depth of cabinet, 2. convenient large top surface that is perfect as a serving top for a bar or surface to place record player and electronics components, even larger ones! The cabinet is on 4 legs that are slick, yet strong. providing a perfect height to serve drinks, as well as to play and change records stand-up posture. Please note the depth of this piece, because it is deeper than many similarly sized cabinet. Behind the doors, there is a large single storage space with size of about 30" wide 23"deep and around 19" high, which can accommodate many records, multiple rows of tall drink bottles and many glassware all together. equipped with a half shelf.
