Vintage larder, storage & display cabinet 1930’s
1930s (I think) larder, used for cooking prep and food storage at the time.
This is one of my most treasured pieces. It has moved with me 16 times, across 3 states, and through several big life chapters.
It makes a great bar, retail display unit, craft storage, bookshelf, pantry, and more.
Center level includes a decorative glass door that opens to access storage; glass is painted with the words break, milk, eggs, fats & butter, and meat.
Photo showing red doors is the condition it was in when I purchased it in college in 1999. I replaced all the hinges and magnetic door closures then, so the hardware is very sturdy.
