Tiggy & Pip is a vintage home décor shop by mother and son décor and interior design loving duo, Tiggy and Pip Coudray.
With a shared love of all things French and vintage we opened our shop in 2011.
Based in France, between Cognac and La Rochelle, we source unusual items from recent French and European history. Everyday French household items from the 1880's to 1980's which, although at one time were plentiful, are now increasingly rare and collectible. We source specialist props for films/photo shoots and interior designers. Many of our 'finds' are currently on display in a number of top New York restaurants and Hollywood apartments.

This vintage mid-century cheese serving platter has a twisted metal handle (which can be unscrewed for ease of storage or transportation.)

The small scenic town of Vallauris is in the Alpes-Maritimes department of the Provence-Alpes -Côte d'Azur region of South-Eastern France.
It became world famous when Picasso lived there in the 1940's and 1950's and Majolica from Vallauris is celebrated for its beautiful glazes and extraordinary shapes.
This plate has been hand-painted in an expressive mid-century, highly textured, design that typically characterizes the region’s pottery.
The brown base glaze of this plate has been overlaid with a gorgeous white 'foam' and mingled with ‘cherry red’ surrounding glaze on alternate segments.
It has a subtle, fluted edge and the glaze is raised to form six large 'cheese' sections or twelve smaller 'cake slice' size segments.
It is clearly marked ‘Vallauris’ on the glazed underside.
There cannot be a more stylish way to serve your cheese course at dinner parties than on a beautiful piece of vintage Vallauris pottery! ..............I love it!.................
