A large octagonal signed Chinese silver box with repousse filigree work. The craftsmanship is superb! It is in excellent condition showing minimal signs of wear and use from age. I have left it with its patina from age, leaving it up to the buyer to polish it or not. It is signed on in the center of the base as shown in the photographs. It measures just over 5" across and just under 2" tall and it weighs approximately 275 grams or about 8.8 troy ounces. I do not know the silver content (coin, sterling, etc.) but it is guaranteed to be a silver alloy. Please view all of the photographs and message me with any questions. I believe this dates from the first half of the 20th century, though it could be later or earlier.
