Handsome custom made black walnut "floating" wall shelf that attaches to the wall with an anchored cleat hardware. This was custom made by a Brooklyn cabinet maker and was installed until recently in an apartment foyer as a handy and modern catch all key caddy/ wallet shelf, and is incredibly well made. I have shown it as a standalone floating shelf, but it was originally mounted with a cleated metal L-shaped trim piece on top and bottom that used a row of screw holes in the wooden top and bottom. You would need to find another L-shaped mounting piece to mouth this shelf, but a handy woodworker or handy person would know how to make it work. Or you could use a set of brackets that can cradle the shelf, like this one from an Etsy shop (there are tons of custom made, not expensive brackets available on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/479290144/steel-shelf-bracket-modern-kitchen-open?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=shelf%20brackets&ref=sr_gallery_6 It has a few dings from use, and some surface wear and scratches, but overall it is in excellent use-now condition. If you clean it up with steel wool and oil it those scratches and dings will be minimized, but in my opinion it is in fine condition for use, and only needs a cursory going over. I have more images to send through email if you want. It weighs 20 lbs as-is, so a bracket you use will need to support at lest 20 and more likely 30/40 lbs (they all do--it depends on the wall you are attaching to, and what anchors you use). Measurements: 10-3/4" depth 3-1/2" thick 41-3/4" length 20 lbs Located in Williamsburg near the L at Lorimer or Montrose, the G at Broadway, and the M at Lorimer Street & Broadway. Cash only please.
