Tiggy & Pip is a vintage home décor shop by mother and son décor and interior design loving duo, Tiggy and Pip Coudray.
With a shared love of all things French and vintage we opened our shop in 2011.
Based in France, between Cognac and La Rochelle, we source unusual items from recent French and European history. Everyday French household items from the 1880's to 1980's which, although at one time were plentiful, are now increasingly rare and collectible. We source specialist props for films/photo shoots and interior designers. Many of our 'finds' are currently on display in a number of top New York restaurants and Hollywood apartments.

This amazing 1960's coffee pot has been hand painted (it states this clearly in the mark on the base 'Peint Main') so is completely unique and original.
It is classically elegant with an elongated handle and delicate, thin spout. Decorated with a white 'foam' surface glaze layer that contrasts beautifully with the warm, golden, caramel colored background. It is fascinating to look at and very tactile, it has a matt finish, not a shiny glaze, making it feel ‘earthy’ and cool.
If you love modern mid century ceramics then this is for you.
The pottery factory in Niderviller, one of the oldest in Lorraine Region of France, is the only one in the region to have manufactured porcelain with Sarreguemines earthenware. The Niderviller pottery was created at Niderviller (Moselle) in 1735.
It measures 26cms/ 10" tall, to the top of the lid, and is 22cms/ 8½" wide, including the handle and spout. It weighs 900gms/ 2lbs! It is in in amazing condition with no visible chips or cracks. There is a tiny glazing flaw at the edge of the rim of the pot, which is not noticeable at normal viewing distance and in no way detracts from the functionality and beauty of this fabulous coffee pot. (I have shown the glazing flaw in the last photo.)
