"an early 20th century, original charcoal drawing by American Illustrator, Frederic Gruger (1871 - 1953). His works were often published for storylines in The Saturday Evening Post.
Charcoal drawing of a group of boys in a general store setting
I obtained this print in Brooklyn at a stoop sale
I don't know if this image was published.
From the appraiser who worked on the estate "If this was published, all the editor notations would be on the backside of the illustration if you remove the backing of the frame. You don't have to do that, and there is a chance this one wasn't published, I just want to impart that information to you."
