Child's painted willow side chair, circa early 1900's. Made of curved willow branches decorated with silver stripes in a classic Adirondack style.
Chair measures: 24" high and 15" wide. Seat is 12" x 12".
Some wear to the bark on the rear legs which was probably caused by a child dragging the chair behind them. Needs a new seat cover but in remarkably good shape otherwise. Sturdy enough to hold a small child which would make it a fun photography prop.
Nice example of authentic Adirondack style folk art furniture.
