The "Verona" pendant light was created by Sven Middelboe in the 1970s. It was originally used in public interiors but later spread to private houses as well. It was made in various versions but this is a large version in matte white powder coated aluminium and five discs. The inside of the most narrow disc/ring is grey in order to not give too strong of a projection in the centre and instead spread a wider more even light downwards with the 4 upper layers.
Rewired but with the original porcelain E27 socket for high wattage light bulbs. Good condition with only very minor scratches.
Danish lighting manufacturer Nordisk Solar was founded in 1919 by Jacob L. Jørgensen and Herluf Sørensen and is well known today on the vintage markets for its mid-century modern pendants and layered lighting designs.
I try to make the pictures reflect the true look, color and condition of the piece. If you have any questions or want additional photos please send a PM before buying.
