Beautiful original watercolor by Skippy Anderson a regional painter from Virginia who lived from 1929-2009. this looks like it was trimmed in some way and the thick paper is irregular, but the painting is simply gorgeous. From the old time log home to the swing in the tree and the pine trees in the distance, this seems like a plein air piece taken from a real-life scene. It has a faint frame scratcher the top in the tree, but is otherwise in excellent condition. I put it in a cheap modern frame under glass to protect it in storage, but it is begging for a proper framing Measures 20 x 12 inches
