Mid-century eight foot tufted tuxedo couch
Vintage 1950’s mid-century Hollywood Regency tufted tuxedo (almost a chesterfield) floral silk brocade couch.
No maker’s marks, but based on weight (lordy is this thing heavy), and construction (top-notch), it could certainly be a Heritage Henredon. In fact, I'd be surprised if it wasn't.
In perfect condition. No, PERFECT. No stains, no marks, no fading, no wear and tear, nothing. It's just over eight feet of mint condition, deep-for-long-legs, glamorous, vintage napping space.
The arms and back flair out at the top ever so slightly. The base has three mid-century modern straight tapered legs. The bottom edge is 98% finished; you could definitely get away with taking off the skirt.
The silk brocade is pretty fancy and nice and neutral. The foam cushions are springy and appear new (they probably aren't, but the foam is as perfect as the rest of the couch).
This couch is adverse to losing its shape. It's not giving you one inch of space that could be compromised. It's fancy and glam and tailored, and good luck ruffling its feathers.
Banana for scale.
