Hello, our family have custom designed and built some teak furnitures for our own use and are looking to sell to Teak lovers, made-to-order. About Teak Teakwood or "Tectura Grandis" is a tropical hardwood tree nature to south east asia, and for 2000 years people have been using teak to build boats and boat decks. It takes at least 50 years for a teak tree to grow and reach diameter of 40 - 50 cm, hence the rarity and difficulty in finding high quality teak furnitures. It is also an endangered / regulated species in many south east asian countries. We want to be eco-friendly and avoid cutting down new teak tree to make furnitures, so the teak wood material we used are recycled from old abandoned wood houses. Then we hand select, clean, polish them into beautiful reclaimed teak materials for crafting into the full solid custom tables, chairs, and book case you see in the pictures.
