**These tables had me at mid century modern style but when I found these tables I new they were special because they are handmade and unique. Somebody put the love and work to make these out of oak flooring and other materials. I didn't think it twice to rescue them from the thrift store and bring them home for a makeover. I carefully took them apart, sanded the original dark stain down to bring out the beauty of the oak flooring. I wanted to give them a little personality so I taped up the arrow shapes and primed and painted all the parts that were going to be painted. I chose to stick to a classic color palete of black and white with wood tones to keeep them neautral and modern. I loved all the character on the original wood tops so I opted to just seal them with semi gloss poly over the top to enhance their beauty. I layered on multiple coats of poly sanding in between them. The wood tapered legs where replenished with restore a finish in dark walnut using steel wool and then polished and waxed. The metal feet were untarnished and cleaned too. These side tables will be a very unique and one of a kind feature in your home. **Measures approximatly 18-1/2" wide, 32-1/2" deep, 21-1/2" tall. **Item is available for PICK UP in Enfield CT, or LOCAL CURBSIDE DELIVERY in CT, MA, NY, RI and NH area can be arranged for an EXTRA FEE.
