Antique Victorian era early 1900's quarter sawn oak full-sized bed frame by The Wisconsin Furniture Mfg. Co.
Head and footboard, both shown, and side rails, not shown. The side rails are not original to the bed; they're mid-century.
This is what one would call a statement piece. It's over six feet tall. It's a hundred years old, give or take. It's quarter sawn oak. It's beautiful. It's outrageous, even.
Oak, I take back every terrible thing I've ever said about you. You're lovely.
The bed is solid and heavy and perfectly patinaed. It used to be on casters, and the inserts are still there if you want your bed on wheels (why, though).
Even if you just use the headboard (which would update the look and save some inches on floor space), this thing is a drop-dead double-take show stopper mama said knock you out KNOCK-OUT.
Similar beds are on Etsy and Chairish for $1,500.
Banana for scale.
