I'm a NYC prop stylist who shops a lot & a collector of some very cool stuff. The result: I have a bunch of truly neat things to pass along to you.
Vintage green metal 1926 Belmont Treeliter 3-bulb Metal Christmas Tree Stand that lights up your tree! It works perfectly, and the plug sockets work too. It was patented in 1926 (April 6, 1926, to be exact) and is a sought after holiday item on Ebay (avg price: 125.00). I haven't used it for more than decoration (it looks nice on its side with colorful bulbs in it on the floor, with some holiday greens in the tree stalk holder--just saying) but it's in perfect working order. With an artificial tree in it (in NYC apartment) it would rock; with a real tree it would too, but that's up to you. The opening for the tree stalk (or is it stump?) is 3" or less. So..light up your holiday party with the Treeliter, no doubt a hit during holiday seasons from the 1920s until now.
Overall measurements: 18" diameter; 4" high base
Condition: as shown; some dents, some wear, some patina; the outlets work as does the plug cord. Sold as-is.
It is located in Williamsburg, and can be seen most days and nights. Email me for more information. Cash only please, and no low ball offers. It's unbecoming.
