Pair of barely used reproduction Herman Miller Eames Eiffel base. The wire rod bases option was available through Herman Miller beginning in 1951. The rubber dome boot style eiffel bases were produced through the 1950's. While the Eames simply called them rod bases, the adoring public refers to these bases as the Eiffel base. These are manufactured in the US by Modern Conscience. Modern Conscience crafts a high-quality black powder-coat Eiffel base with rubber dome boot glides. This base will fit all of the Charles Eames for Herman Miller shells with the narrow shockmount configuration. These retail new for 90 each. I will sell the pair for 140 (firm). Email to schedule a viewing in Santa Monica. Cheers, Jeff C.
