Designed by Edward Wormley for Drexel and built in the USA sometime in the 1950s. It's a real stunner...commanding and yet light, not overbearing. Holds the attention of the room. A compelling American play in the mid-century modern Danish style. Solid Walnut with leather top. The leather, which I believe is original, is slightly scuffed, as you can see in the pictures, and is starting to pull up a bit towards the sliding top doors. Otherwise it's in very good shape for a 70-year old piece. Left drawer has removable file slots. Right side has two drawers, one with pen/pencil holder. All have chrome handles. Desk back has two sliding doors with compartments. pick up only.
