A gorgeous original Art Deco print depicting three stylish women modeling the latest fashions of 1923, including printed silk drop-waist dresses, mink fur coats, and kitten heels. A butler waits patiently at-hand in the background, near a golden folding screen. At least a dozen colors were used in this print, including a lovely shimmering silver and gold metallic ink. Professionally matted with archival-quality materials and framed in a black aluminum picture frame, ready for hanging in your walk-in closet, art studio, or bedroom.
This highly collectible print comes directly from the Parisian fashion magazine Art-Goût-Beauté (Art, Good Taste, and Beauty) published in the 1920's and 1930's. It uniquely captures the spirit of the Art Deco era in both the fashions portrayed and the artistic rendering. This was produced using the porchoir technique, an early method of silk screening.
