Classic Sling Butterfly Chair
Perhaps the most iconic piece of furniture from the Mid-Century Modern period. This butterfly armchair designed by Jorge Ferrari Hardoy and produced by Knoll. Originally, this armchair is called the Hardoy chair, but due to its design the chair is soon named after the Butterfly. The chair was designed in 1938 on the basis of the folding chair known in Europe and by the unexpected popularity produced by Knoll from 1947-1950. The frame is cast iron welded with a sun-kissed original orange canvas cover.
