A very rare find indeed. Fabulously painted and glazed large Japanese porcelain hibachi pot originally used for firewood/cooking. Stunning and very stylish blue-green finish with hand-painted horse imagery in a Sumi-e style of painting. This wonderful looking pot can be re-purposed for use as a table base as well as an indoor/outdoor planter. Markings that vaguely translate to "Tachibana-yaki' on base. Measures 19" in diameter and 12" high.
