Vintage 1970s Pottery Table Lamp Woodstock Chic

Posted on Mon Mar 19 2018

Vintage 1970s pottery table lamp glazed in a gorgeous symphony of autumnal tones of orange, browns, dark green, cordovan, and pewter. Hand made in the 1970s by a friend, and I used it for years. It works perfectly. It's a low lamp and is perfect for sitting on a dresser top, a bedside table, on a credenza as an accent light, or in a kitchen on a counter for that accessory kitchen lamp that can fit under an upper cabinet. If you have a spot in a bathroom that's a great place for a little style too. I have shown it with a too-large shade that is not included, but finding a shade is easy at Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, IKEA, Kmart, Just Shades in NoLiTa, Pottery Barn (a great resource for shades) or Gracious Home. The body measures 7-1/2" wide X 7-1/2" deep X 9" tall (the body); The measurement to the top of the bulb is 15" Again, finding a clip on shade is easy. The poetry body is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. Located in Williamsburg (my studio) or Bed-Stuy (my home). I prefer cash. I am around many days and most evenings. My studio is near the L at Lorimer or Montrose; the G at Broadway; the M at Lorimer.
