Norman Bel Geddes, called the "Father of Streamlining" by Fortune Magazine in 1934, was commissioned to design sheet metal furniture for Raymond Loewy's Simmons Company of Chicago, Illinois in 1928 and the first items were sold in 1932. This desk is a post-1932 release from Simmons and has been attributed to NBG. Own a piece of fashion-forward style history. Extremely rare industrial find, Particularly in this color. Very good condition for its age as pictured. I am offering delivery to serious buyers!
