Tiggy & Pip is a vintage home décor shop by mother and son décor and interior design loving duo, Tiggy and Pip Coudray.
With a shared love of all things French and vintage we opened our shop in 2011.
Based in France, between Cognac and La Rochelle, we source unusual items from recent French and European history. Everyday French household items from the 1880's to 1980's which, although at one time were plentiful, are now increasingly rare and collectible. We source specialist props for films/photo shoots and interior designers. Many of our 'finds' are currently on display in a number of top New York restaurants and Hollywood apartments.

This is a stunning set of five antique French books in faded green tones. They are 'aged to perfection' and will give you an instant 'old library' effect. There are works here by some of France's most famous writers, such as Corneille and Alfred de Musset, to give your bookshelves added French chic!
They look lovely tied up with twine and displayed on a coffee table, sideboard, mantelpiece, bedside table or dresser. The covers have faded with time to subtle, dusky, soft 'aqua' greens and the pages are yellowed with age, with age spots.
The five books are all distressed from years of genuine use and some of the pages are delicate and loose:
The titles are:
Polyeucte - Corneille (paperback 1935 edition.) Pierre Corneille (6 June 1606 – 1 October 1684) was a French tragedian. He is generally considered one of the three great seventeenth-century French dramatists, along with Molière and Racine. Polyeucte martyr is a drama in five acts, from 1642, based on the life of the martyr Saint Polyeuctus.
