These counter-height stools owe inspiration to the classic Eames designs, exemplified where the gracefully curved chromed steel tube legs meet at the base of the gently shaped natural beech plywood seat. Their design features a comfortable backrest and the proud “Lyra” name on each seat. This pair is sculpturally appealing, with a nod to minimalism.
The world-renowned furniture manufacturer Herman Miller was founded in 1905 in Michigan and has evolved and grown into a design empire. After Italian-based Magis by Tecnotubi was founded in 1976, the two design houses partnered to produce furniture that was as functional as it was beautiful, and reflected the sleek timelessness of mid century design. These stools are still featured in the Herman Miller catalogs today. Herman Miller is the exclusive distributor of Magis products in the United States and Canada.
