Description

Richard Rohac was a master craftsman who worked in Austria and died in 1956 at the age of 50. These sculptural candlesticks are a beautiful example of his work, an entwined design in solid brass or perhaps bronze to which black patina has been added. They make a magnificent mid century statement and are the finest design pieces ever offered at Eight Mile Vintage. Dimensions: 9 7/8" high x 6 3/8" wide with a 3/4" diameter candle well Backstamp: RR Made in Austria In excellent vintage condition with minor marks and wear consistent with age and use. Some candle wax remains in the candle wells. One candle well is lined with a thin layer of some hard substance that is chipping off (perhaps a DIY solution to hold smaller candles?). Please review all photos.
