Mid-century modern highboy dresser from Drexel’s ‘Projection’ line.
Projection was designed by John van Koert.
The highboy is made from a solid pecan base overlaid with walnut veneer. There is a lift-up section in the center which opens to reveal a vanity mirror and recessed cubby for storing jewelry and other accoutrements. The front is fitted with a tambour style door which pulls down to showcase a multi-functional interior of petite drawers for storing smaller items. The bottom is fitted with three large drawers, each accented with its original silver handle. The drawers are extremely deep and boxy.
Has some signs of wear, but overall in a good vintage condition.
