Art Deco to Mid Century Modern Furniture and Home Decor for the Discriminating Taste
This vintage Mid Century Modern 2-piece sideboard was only made from 1946-1951 for Thaden Jordan Furniture Corporation of Roanoke, Virginia by Herbert Von Thaden, one of the early pioneers of steam bending birch. Thaden began by molding airplane parts out of wood for WWII.
Made from molded birch plywood. This credenza features a detachable hutch shelving with two graduated shelves over a buffet with two doors that have open cabinet spaces with one adjustable shelf in each side, and a center drawer that has 3 shelves lined with green felt.
Credenza is 48.5″ wide x 18″ deep x 31″high. Hutch is 45″ wide x 10″ deep x 25″ high
Condition: This is a vintage piece and as such displays a mild level of wear from age. Any imperfections that have occurred only add to the charm and uniqueness.
