Tiggy & Pip is a vintage home décor shop by mother and son décor and interior design loving duo, Tiggy and Pip Coudray.
With a shared love of all things French and vintage we opened our shop in 2011.
Based in France, between Cognac and La Rochelle, we source unusual items from recent French and European history. Everyday French household items from the 1880's to 1980's which, although at one time were plentiful, are now increasingly rare and collectible. We source specialist props for films/photo shoots and interior designers. Many of our 'finds' are currently on display in a number of top New York restaurants and Hollywood apartments.
I was so excited to find these plates as they are really unusual.
These plates are illustrated with classic French Paëlla recipes. The perfect gift for Paëlla lovers!
What a great opportunity to impress your dinner guests - a great 'talking point'- and an excellent opportunity to try out these dishes.
The illustrations are beautifully detailed, showing the individual ingredients of each dish.
The set consists of:
Five Round Plates with three different 'recipe' designs measuring 24cms (9 ½") diameter.
The Designs are:
Paëlla Basquaise - There is one plate in this design. This is a French Basque recipe. Illustrated in fantastic detail, showing the essential ingredients, such as artichoke, chili pepper, salt, rice and shellfish.
Paëlla Portugaise - There are two plates in this design. This Portuguese recipe design shows spicy chorizo, chicken, garlic, red pepper, green beans, peas and pork.
Paëlla Madrilène - There are two plates in this design. Gorgeous Spanish paëlla ingredients such as Langoustine, mussels, garlic, peas and a rustic pepper grinder feature in the illustration on this plate.
They are very collectible and an ideal gift for chefs or for anyone who loves paëlla or mid-century modern design.
The plates are all in excellent condition, with no chips, scratches or cracks and carry the 'Paris Porcelaine' mark on the undersides. There is some very slight 'wear' to the word 'Madrilène' on one of the Spanish paëlla plates.
I have lots more fabulous Mid Century Modern 'finds' here in my shop:
