Vintage 1970s portrait of a pug wearing a cozy brown jacket out for an afternoon of adventure and exercise with his owner. Acrylic painting on canvas board in rustic wooden frame. Artist A. M. McCarthy was a Massachusetts native who spend years as a scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Outside the laboratory, she was a skilled woodworker and wood turner as well as a talented artist. As if that weren't enough, she participated in obedience competitions with her pugs. SIZE 27" w x 23" tall CONDITION Very good. No noted flaws. This is a vintage item.
