Tiggy & Pip is a vintage home décor shop by mother and son décor and interior design loving duo, Tiggy and Pip Coudray.
With a shared love of all things French and vintage we opened our shop in 2011.
Based in France, between Cognac and La Rochelle, we source unusual items from recent French and European history. Everyday French household items from the 1880's to 1980's which, although at one time were plentiful, are now increasingly rare and collectible. We source specialist props for films/photo shoots and interior designers. Many of our 'finds' are currently on display in a number of top New York restaurants and Hollywood apartments.
This is a gorgeous vintage 1970's cocktail shaker. It is a stunning example of mid-century design and is so funky.........We love shiny things and this is 'super shiny!'........
Perfect for all 1960's /1970's themed cocktail parties or Summer parties around the pool.
This shaker is now very collectible and quite hard to find, a 'must' for anyone who loves or collects mid-century bar ware or loves that 'retro' feel.
When complete it stands 21cms tall (8¼") and is 8.5cms (3¼") diameter, at its widest, and 6.5cms (2½") diameter at the base - elegantly tapered. It weighs 300gms (10½ oz.)
It is marked 'Guy Degrenne, Inox 18-8, Made in France' on the underside of the shaker (showing it is comprised of 18% chromium and 8% nickel.)
It is in excellent condition. it has a couple of very, light surface scratches. It has no dents or dints, is perfectly usable and there is absolutely no damage to the strainer or lid, it fits perfectly snugly.
It would look fabulous displayed on your bar, just below your 'flashing neon' sign!
..............Put some ice in the freezer!..............we're having a party!.........
