Tiggy & Pip is a vintage home décor shop by mother and son décor and interior design loving duo, Tiggy and Pip Coudray.
With a shared love of all things French and vintage we opened our shop in 2011.
Based in France, between Cognac and La Rochelle, we source unusual items from recent French and European history. Everyday French household items from the 1880's to 1980's which, although at one time were plentiful, are now increasingly rare and collectible. We source specialist props for films/photo shoots and interior designers. Many of our 'finds' are currently on display in a number of top New York restaurants and Hollywood apartments.

These handmade stoneware bottles are rare and collectible.
They look fabulous when displayed together or alongside other stoneware items in a farmhouse kitchen and would make an interesting gift for anyone who brews their own beer or wine.
The porcelain stoppers on these bottles still work perfectly, in spite of the slight degradation to the rubber seals, and nowadays would be ideal to store your homemade lemonade or home brewed beer.
You could also use them as hot water bottles or stylish thermos!
Considering their age they are in great condition, the metal clasps are slightly rusty, and the rubber of the stopper is starting to show signs of degradation, but this simply adds to the authenticity and charm of the bottles and in fact, along with the odd 'dint/chip' out of the porcelain stopper gives them an 'aged to perfection' feel.
The stoneware bottles themselves are undamaged, with no chips or cracks and are glazed in a gorgeous shiny rich brown. They are very tactile with the outside of the bottles having a textured quality from the 'speckled' air bubbles formed during the glazing process. One is embossed '<11' and the other '21>' at the base.
They stands 30cms (11¾") tall and are 9cms (3½") diameter. Each one is quite heavy weighing 1.2kgs (2.6lbs)!
Great for rustic, country kitchen and French provincial style interiors. They are utterly charming.
