Note: this is located in Brookfield CT Antique cherry wood spindle back lyre medallion curve back hall bench in the Victorian Neoclassical style. Likely from the early 20th century (1900-1920) based on the factory stamp on the bottom, but there are no maker marks except for the number 1054. The style is a mash-up of curved back American Colonial Windsor styling with Jenny Lind turned spindles, and with a lyre detail, which gives it a European vibe rather than American, but I can’t be sure. In any event it is a regal & handsome bench, and can look great in your entrance foyer, hallway, sun room, or library. I can also see it as your cat’s favorite bench to curl up on. It is in overall good to very good antique condition with surface wear and two missing spindles, but it is so unique you may overlook the spindles or conceal the area with a few throw pillows. Sold as-is. Measurements: 44-3/4” widest length at outside of round back; 16-1/2” seat height; 26-3/4” arm height; 17-1/2” seat depth; 24” overall depth
