Beautiful, hard-to-find, mid century modern chest of drawer / highboy / tall dresser from 60s. A dark mahogany piece, unusual for 60s mid century modern, with bold and attractive sculptural carving on the front and gleaming solid brass pulls, strikingly contrasting each other. Features 4 deep drawers out of which, 2nd one from top provides very deep storage with 2 brass pulls on the drawer face. Unusual style for 60s mid century modern pieces. Reminiscent of the styles of Edward Wormley for Dunbar or John Keal for Brown Stallman, but no manufacturer mark. In an excellent condition, beautiful finish and structurally solid. Drawers work well. The finish is a bit darker in person than pictures. More modern looking finish, not dated looking finish at all. The STYLE is STRONG on this one! Measures 38" wide, 44" tall and 18" deep.
