Gorgeous antique opaline glassware by the famous French maker Portieux Vallerysthal, set of 8, all in mint condition. Vallerysthal Glassworks was founded in 1836 in Lorraine, France. In 1854, the firm became Klenglin et Cie. It made table and decorative glass, opaline, cameo, and art glass. These glasses are incredible and hard to find in a set as large as this; and I hope someone who is throwing a chic Thanksgiving, Halloween, or Holiday dinner party finds them to impress their guests with some major style. If you know this opaline glass and how rare to find Vallerysthal in general you will know this is a deal. I'd like to sell them in one batch (or 8) but I would be willing to split the set, though any good host or hostess knows it's best to have sets of 8 or 12--what if that busload of Rockets show up to your party and you are scrambling for Solo cups? Not a good look. Each is 6-1/2" tall; 3-1/2" across the diameter of the rim. All in excellent condition. Located in Bed Stuy near Marcus Garvey and Greene, though I could meet you at my studio in Williamsburg if that is closer. I can also deliver curbside in the city for 15 bucks. Cash only please.
