This is the very collectible Emerson CL256. Referred to as the "Stradivarius" or "Strad" by most collectors after the resemblance to a violin. The italicized "F-holes" on the top and the "strings" in front of the speaker lend credence to the comparison. With beautiful maple veneers, this radio has been completely refinished showing all its wonderful wood grains. Designed by Ingraham this cabinet offers beauty and collectibility. All capacitors have been replaced with modern polystyrene types. It has a new "crystal clear" dial cover. A new "Emerson" decal. The original knobs with felt protectors behind and felt protectors on the bottom. A new cloth covered AC cord and a 2 prong old fashion plug. The original "Ingraham" label is on the bottom.
