Jeanette National Punch Bowl/Cake Server Set

This makes a great wedding or anniversary gift! Simply decorated with hobnail and flute pattern this highly collectible and versatile set can be used as a lovely raised punch bowl, a punch bowl and serving platter and side dish, or a fantastic raised wedding cake stand. Nora Koch in "The Daze Past", describes it as "a distinctive set in exquisite clear fluted crystal glass." (the bible of depression era glass) The punch bowl is a six quart, 12" wide 5½" deep affair. The serving platter is 15" by 1" high, the bowl/pedestal is 3"tall by 8" wide and 11 Cups 2 3/8" tall, 3 1/4" There are no cracks or chips in any of the cups, pedestal, platter or punch bowl. All pieces are in excellent extra-fine vintage condition. Jeanette Glass began production in the late 1800s, forming Jeanette Glass Company in 1898 in Jeanette, PA. Jeanette ceased operation in 1983. A few items in the Jeanette National line are being reproduced, namely the classic hobnail and fluted pitcher.
